Topic: OUR WALK WITH GOD
THEME SCRIPTURE:
Amos 3:3 (NKJV)
Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
MESSAGE:
Our walk with God requires that we upgrade ourselves to His level, by learning how to speak His language. We established in our previous devotion, that, God’s language is faith, and if we’re ever going to be successful in our walk with Him, we ought to speak His language.
Our theme Scripture says, “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” Can you walk together with God without agreeing to speak His language? Remember, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour” (Ecclesiastes 4:9, KJV). This Scripture applies to our walk with God as well. You’re better off with God when both you and God speak the same language.
If that is the case, then, we ought to learn the faith language. Regardless of your mother tongue, or the languages you might have learnt from other tribes and nations, God will not hear you if they’re not spoken in faith. Just as faith is God’s language, it must become the only language we speak as well, if we are to benefit from our walk with God. Other than that, you’d be frustrated in your walk with God.
Don’t worry! The easiest language in heaven and on earth is the faith language. As we learn more about faith, you’d become effective in your walk with God.
