Topic: CALL UPON GOD
THEME SCRIPTURE:
Romans 10:12-13 (KJV)
[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
MESSAGE:
It’s obvious from our theme Scripture, that, God does not impose Himself on human beings; He responds to only those who call upon Him. Yes, God created all humankind, but He has given us the freewill to choose, to either acknowledge Him, or ignore Him.
From our theme Scripture, we discover that in Christ Jesus, there is NO DIFFERENCE between Jews and Gentiles; God is rich unto all that call upon Him. That means, if you don’t call upon God, He is not obliged to reach out to you. This is what many people out there in the world don’t seem to understand. Their argument is, “If there is a God who created the heavens and the earth, why doesn’t He come to the aid of the suffering masses in the world?” But this argument is faulty; it is not consistent with the Word of God. Those who say such things, have either forgotten, or are ignorant of the fact that this world is not God’s world; this is man’s world! Man was put in charge of this world. Until we invite God into our world, He isn’t under any obligation to come to our aid. God is not rich unto everybody in this world just because He created us. He is rich unto ALL who call upon Him.
Why don’t you begin to call upon God, in the Name of Jesus? Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV) says, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Call upon God now, and He will answer you. He is rich unto all who call upon Him.
