Month Theme: Faith
Topic: The Three Warnings - The End
Scripture Reading: Hebrews 11:1-40
Main Text:
Hebrews 11:7
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
It takes faith to believe that the beautiful people and things in the world can come to an end. All things shall pass away (Matthew 24:35-39). It takes faith to believe that human wisdom, power and technology can fail to stop disaster and everything would be destroyed. Covid-19 and its attendant lockdowns are warnings about the end of all things. The world and its systems are not resistant to termination.
It takes faith to believe that hell is real. That the all-powerful and loving God can cast people into hell. You have to believe that God can create a place called hell. Unbelievers don’t believe hell exist. They don’t believe in eternal judgment. However, we of the household of faith, must carry the Gospel to them (Matthew 10:26-28).
Believers who have no faith don’t believe the world will end, they don’t believe they can lose the anointing, they don’t believe God punishes sin and disobedience. It is sad to see believers and unbelievers alike behave as if they will never and cannot depart from this world.
Prayer: Pray that you will end well.
