Topic: THE BASIS TO RECEIVE FROM GOD
THEME SCRIPTURE:
Romans 8:32 (KJV)
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
MESSAGE:
The basis to receive from God is conditioned upon the truth, that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Our theme Scripture says, the Father God didn’t spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all. What does that mean? It means, the Father allowed His Son to become sin for us, although His Son knew no sin (2 Corinthians 5:21); the Father allowed His Son to die our death, and because Jesus became sin for us, He also went to hell in our stead. If the Father didn’t spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all; did you take note of that? The Father didn’t deliver His Son up for a select few; He delivered Him up for US ALL. On that basis, the Scripture asks, “How shall He (the Father) not with Him (Jesus) also freely give us all things?” What stops the Father from freely giving us anything, and everything, after He offered His Son as our substitute? If, while we were still sinners Christ died for us, is it now that we’re Saints that the Father will withhold anything from us? If, while we didn’t qualify Jesus qualified us with His precious Blood, is it now that we’re accepted in the beloved (Ephesians 1:6), that, the Father will reject us?
Let the vicarious death of Christ be your basis to receive from God. If the Father God didn’t spare His Son, but allowed Him to be your substitute, you can receive everything that Christ died and rose again for.
