Month Theme: The Sons of Oil
Topic: Need for a Combination
Scripture Reading: Ecclesiastes 4:1-12
Main Text:
Zechariah 4:14
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
There are several permutations and combinations people who operate together in ministry can have. The first scenario is two individuals, neither of whom is anointed. The second scenario is when one person is anointed but the other one is not. The third, is the situation in which both people are anointed. This third combination is the one that is typified by the ecclesiastical (spiritual) anointing of Joshua and civil (secular) anointing of Zerubbabel.
The Body of Christ has been operating with just one anointing – the ecclesiastical or spiritual power – without the corresponding anointing – the civil or secular power – for ages. We need the combination of these two anointings to fulfil our purpose on earth. We are in the day, spiritually, when these two anointings are coming together.
Worldly people also, do everything possible to deny the need of the world for ecclesiastical power. They contend that all we need is God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. Through ignorance and pride, they fight against the need for men and women of God. Everything is done to dim the light of God’s anointed ones. However, God is raising thousands of anointed ones around the world who are manifesting ecclesiastical power.
Prayer: Pray for yourself that when you find yourself in a team, you will not be deficient in any anointing you need to support the team.
