For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Bible says "for all have sinned". To sin is to miss the mark and not share in the prize. It also means making a mistake. So we all according to the scripture have missed the mark and wandered from the path of uprightness and honour.
Before man fell, we shared in the glory of God, that is the splendour, holiness and majesty of God. Glory is that which secures praise. But when we sinned, Bible says we have come short of the glory of God because of sin. What a great loss it was.
But through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, we have been justified and consudered right or innocent by the grace of God.
By the grace of God, man was restored to the glory we fell short of because of sin.
Pray and thank God for the redemption we have in Christ Jesus and the restoration of the glory we fell short of because of sin.
