Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
MESSAGE:
Everyday is an opportunity to taste of the newness of God’s mercies. Yesterday’s mercy was enough for yesterday; God has given us a new day and it came with renewed mercies.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. [23] They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” God’s mercies and compassion are new every morning! This is why we must pray everyday. Never come to the place in your walk with God where you think you’ve prayed enough. Romans 9:16 (NKJV) says, “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.” And if God’s mercies and compassion are new every morning, then we need to boldly come to the throne of grace daily, to OBTAIN MERCY and FIND GRACE for our DAILY NEEDS.
We need God everyday and therefore must pray everyday, because God’s mercies are new every morning. Prayer is a means by which we deploy the supernatural in our natural circumstances of life. “Supernatural” simply means, “superior to the natural.” The evil forces that seek to rule this world are supernatural in nature. This is why you should not attempt to succeed in this life by your natural abilities alone. You need the supernatural to be able to overcome the evil forces, as well as thrive and flourish in the midst of the darkness of this world. And the only legitimate supernatural ability is that which we obtain from the throne of grace. This is why you must reach out to God everyday through prayer.
