14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
One person can chase one thousand people in warfare but the combined strength of two fighters can put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30). During one of His evangelistic efforts, Jesus Christ sent His disciples two by two into the cities and places He had planned to visit later.
Jesus Christ’s disciples were sent as lambs among wolves (Luke 10:1-3). It was advantageous for them to go into missions in pairs. It is dangerous to operate among wolves but doing so in twos enables us to survive and thrive.
During the great tribulation, the two witnesses of the Book of Revelation will operate together, thereby making it difficult for their enemies to destroy them (Revelation 11:3-13). It is strategic for believers to undertake their missions in at least twos. We are stronger when we are together than when we function as individuals. The independent spirit is a dispensable force.
Prayer: Pray that you will locate the other person you need in your life to support you fulfil your purpose.
