Topic: READY TO REVENGE ALL DISOBEDIENCE
THEME SCRIPTURE:
2 Corinthians 10:6 (KJV)
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
MESSAGE:
We learnt from yesterday’s devotion, what our theme Scripture meant by “...when your obedience is fulfilled.” Truly, when your obedience is fulfilled, you’ll be ready to revenge all disobedience.
The phrase, “...to revenge all disobedience” in our theme Scripture means, “To put satan where he belongs - under your feet.” Satan is the author and instigator of all disobedience. Speaking in John 8:44 (KJV), our Lord Jesus said, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” The devil was a murderer from the beginning; he’s also the father of lies. This makes him the beginner and the source of all disobedience. “All disobedience” comprise of anything that is contrary to the Will of God. Poverty, sickness, disease, and death, fall in the category of “all disobedience.” Division, shame, reproach, stagnation, retrogression, are also in the same category of “all disobedience.” The list goes on and on.
When our obedience is fulfilled, we will have the advantage of superiority over all disobedience, and therefore, be ready to revenge all disobedience. Are you ready?
