Month Theme: Restoration
Topic: The Breaker II
Scripture Reading: Micah 2:1-13
Main Text:
Micah 2:13
13 The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
We shall surely have all things restored to us because THE BREAKER goes before us. The word breaker in the above scripture reference is the Hebrew word pāraṣ (paw-rats’) which also means compel, break down, scatter or disperse. The breaker – Jehovah-Messiah – would go before the remnant of the house of Jacob or Israel and break through every obstacle in the way of their restoration.
Jesus Christ came into the world to break limitations, confinements and strongholds and set the captives free. A few cases of breaking prison are:
- Indoctrination (Matthew 12:10, 13)
- Immorality (John 8:3-11)
- Infirmity
The pain and confinement of infirmity healed (Luke 13:11-13). Jesus Christ the Healer – the Breaker – is still active today, healing many of their infirmities. - Incarceration
The demoniacs of the Gergesenes set free from the spirits of limitation and torture (Matthew 8:28-32). There is no situation of bondage that cannot be broken by the Breaker. - Intimidation
The breaker broke all barriers and found money in an unlikely place to pay tax (Matthew 17:22).
The Breaker went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). The Breaker is going before you.
Prayer: Thank God that the Breaker is gone before you.
