Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Those who are born of God are the sons of God (John 1:12-13). The world awaits the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19-21). These sons of God are people of purpose who accomplish God’s will on earth. They deliver the word from God and release the power of God among people to bless them.
The Greek word for “sons” in Romans 8:19-21 is huios. Jesus Christ the Son of God overcame the world by exercising dominion on earth. The sons of God are likewise overcoming the world throughout the history of the Church. We are liberating the world from satanic rule and giving it the power to fulfil the purpose for which it was created.
Sons of God are effective through the anointing that resides in them (1 John 2:27). They don’t depend on human wisdom and strength to execute their agenda. The anointing in them is an integral part of them and gives them all the wisdom and power they need to minister to the world.
Prayer: Pray and thank God that through the Spirit of adoption you have become His son.
