Topic: GO YE INTO ALL THE WORLD
THEME SCRIPTURE:
Mark 16:15 (KJV)
And he (Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
MESSAGE:
We’re living in a time where nations are locked down, and it’s almost impossible to travel from one nation to the other because of travel restrictions. Nevertheless, the Word of God cannot be restricted; we must still do the Word no matter what seeks to restrict us.
Our theme Scripture is a reference to one of the instructions our Lord Jesus gave to us, moments before He departed to heaven. “...Go ye into ALL THE WORLD and preach the gospel to EVERY CREATURE.” The phrase, “All the world” suggests to us, that, there are different worlds. The space you occupy, and the people who dwell in that space, basically form your world. My world is different from your world, and likewise, your world is different from my world. We have the academic world, medical world, commerce world, engineering world, financial world, sports world, entertainment world, just to name a few. There are people within your world that you have access to; they’re within your reach, and you’re the only person who can reach out to them with the gospel of Jesus Christ. At this time when it’s difficult to travel from nation to nation, we must occupy the spaces within our individual worlds with the gospel of Jesus Christ; we must preach the gospel to every creature.
Thank God for the advancement in science and technology! We must use every proper means, and all the scientific and technological tools available to us, to reach out to those who dwell in our individual worlds with the gospel. Will you?
